Dentistry Work Abroad
2 Answers
I posted a question on here a month ago, re: a similar query. But now I want to find out if this make sense and if anyone has any ideas how I get contacts etc for this...
Basically I have decided to get all my dental work: Teeth straighten, gum problems and white fillings etc... abroad (as it seems to cost so much here, even on the NHS). Possibly Eastern Europe, Czech Republic, Hungary, Bulgaria, or possibly France.
What I would like to know is , is this a good idea, and how do I find the right contacts.
Any ideas most welcome

When we stopped at Singapore, I walked in off the street to a dentist who made me another one and fitted it inside 30 minutes for 48. This was not some backstreet joint - flowers and coffee in the waiting groom, receptionist dressed like a model, the works. Later, I talked to some other cruisers who told me that lots af Americans go to Mexico for treatment.
Why not Google under "Dental Tourism" or "Medical Tourism" or something like that to get some guide to what is available.
