serious question!!

I am 50 well educated ( 10 o levels and a A's and a BeD )and well spoken I taught for 27 years and at management level. I have left teaching ( for the right reasons) and need a job...all i apply for say i am either over qualified or have had the wrong experience, I NEED A JOB please help!. Will someone take me on??

i know it may be a bit beneath you , but what about working in asda or argos or working in council offices
just to get you some money at the moment

Adapt your cv for the job you're applying for (but I dont mean tell lies, just emphasise the info that's relevant to that role) and leave out stuff if necessary.

You don't say what sort of jobs youre applying for so it's difficult to say how 27 years teaching relates to them.

If you are desperate for money then do as redhead says, at least it will show that you want to work and will give you some cash.
