police!
does anyone know of a good way of getting involved with the police force iv wanted to do this now for 4 yrs but never know the right routes x i would like to prove that i am willing to do all types of work and would be reliable as unfortunately i got my first caution last yr. which doesnt look good but iv never been in trouble before or after this! do you think maybe community work for a couple of years might help as i dont mind volunteering my spare time x im only 20 so i could spare a few years before joining yet x

Join the Special Constabulary and you'll be rubbing shoulders with people who can help you with the recruiting process. Your caution isn't likely to be a problem. Expect to invest around 3 to 5 years in this process and you'll have a job for life. Be advised though, it's not an easy ride and it doesn't suit everyone.
