Overtime
Hi,
Is this in the law anywhere because i can't find it.
Ive been wondering is there a set amount of working hours i can do before i get 'Overtime'( time an 1/2)??
An is there another set of hours before i'm entitled to Double time??
Eg: I worked my normal 40hour week last week an worked 19 hours overtime too during the 5 days, I will received time an 1/2 for the 19hours so how many more hours would i have to do before its conpulsaey to get paid double time? Or doesn't this exsit?

Can't speak for anyone else but in my job certain hours/duties are paid for at a preferential rate - basically by agreeing to work those hours all the time, you get a higher rate. In my case that simply means I agree to forsake my day off, go to work instead, and I get paid at a higher overtime rate.
I can also add that unlike years ago, overtime is also at a capped rate - the more you do you USED to get a bit more, but not now.

Eg: After 50hours time 1/2 then after 70hours double time.
Those hours are for example
