The manager/ owner of a cafe is 'going to see what I'm like' today . . .

I'm punctual, from 'oliver' have shown i can work in a busy but well organised (at times) group, smartly dressed and because I've been to the cafe loads of times before, I know how things work there . . .

But she did say it'll probably only be casual work in the summer holidays (better than nothing though).

As a waitress . . .
Sounds like you can sell yourself well Molly! Just tell her what you have put above and you will be just fine :o)

It's all good experience as well even if it does turn out to be casual work.

Good luck!
Good luck.

Just be natural, clean, tidy and polite.

Try to listen rather than talk all the time.

Show that you have enthusiasm for the job ,even tho it just a casual one.

good luck, just remember- all customers are gits, however, the trick is, never let them know that.
You need to make it clear to her that you are aware that you will be on your feet alot, that customers can be very demanding and you will be able to cope with their high expectations, also that there is a food hygiene element to the job that you will need to be made aware of and though you may not be handling the food, there will be aspects of your service that will involve an understanding of it,
All the best Molly
Best of luck Molly, in my experience casual jobs often turn into full time.
Good luck Molly :o)
