Hi i am doing research at uni and my research question is - for smokers who are wanting to quit, by attending a smoking cessation clinic do they have a high rate of being succesfull? is this a flor or pio question?
You would be better to put this in a diffrent category asking if people had been succesfull at stopping smoking by going to a clinic. Body & Soul for instance , it is not at all obvious what the real question is about from the title.
What is a flor or pio question ? I do not know I have never heard the terms before.
i would think the drug companies and NHS have already answered this, before they rolled out smoking cessation officers across the country.
what about researching people's pre-conceived ideas on their own barriers to quitting THEN the assessing the reality? you can easily do quals and quants on a smaller scale then?
