Night Shift

I'm working in the garden....in for a Bailey's break....I have all the lights in the back garden on and a torch on my head for weeding. The temperature is perfect...it's quiet and so peaceful......bliss. And just right for mixing cement.
I think I will stay on night shift for the summer.....bet the phone rings at eight....x

I always thought nights were for Bats, Cats and Burglars. So with that in mind which are you gness. lol.

Or your neighbours go for the kill due to the light pollution and noise from the cement mixer when they are heading off to bed!

An apologetic bottle of Prosecco might not be enough.........or there again your neighbours might be a country mile away and not give a stuff!

I avoid the garden in the late evening and let the wildlife run free, it's lovely to see the hogs and bats enjoying the space. :-)

I spend most of my life working overnight. It`s much better than working in the day IMO. I can understand why you would be happy working in the garden at night

Jezza....a bat I think....dark and scary. The only burgler I knew was called Bob....Bob the Burglar....he gave it up when his arthritis got bad and he went on the sick...x

It's cool for cement mixing which I do quietly...the neighbours are used to me specially since the shoe incident....and George over the road thinks I am unusual but lovely...think that was a compliment. x
And I have no wildlife here yet...sadly...but it will come...x

Just come back from a walk, it's still, sea's like a millpond, one or two boats out in the estuary, few flying things about, ears just been munched, but a nice night

Lol, bless you gness, beavering away at the coal face. The wildlife will come. We have frogs, every year they turn up, don't know where from as we don't have a pond, our gardener ran over one of them with his lawnmower last week. I was gutted.

It's a perfect night Baldric...shame to go to bed and miss it so I'll stay out longer.
AYG...I came from a garden with lots of wildlife to this one with grass... just grass...Next door has a pond and I see frogs passing so now my ponds are finished I shall kidnap some when they are on holiday....x
