I'm looking to work in child care it's a complete change of career and I have no experience in a working capacity could anyone help in were to begin

Find a childcare facility near you, and ask for information.

If they're rude or unhelpful, look for the next childcare facility.

pehaps speak to your local job centre - even if you are not on the dole they can probably still help advise you on relevant courses you will need etc.

in the meantime, you could do a first aid course, and do some general research and reading

do you have any friends who would allow you to babysit etc? this will also get you used to dealing with kids who are not your own and dont know you

You could start with a preschool or nursery. You don't need qualifications to start, just an enhanced CRB check- they will also pay for any relevant courses.
