My wife works full time and my temporary agency job will shortly end. I have been in unbroken employement for 28years.


Would I recieve contribution based JSA?

Job seekers allowance is available to anyone who has paid a full contribution continuously for the previous 2-3yrs, regardless of spouses income. It is only claimable (is there such a word!!!!!) for 6mnths.

...and then, like they've done to me, they leave you high and dry with the other half's salary to survive on for the pair of you.

And they still give you grief when you sign on.
