Second interview

I've got a second interview for a entry-level marketing position next week..anyone got any advice, i don't really know what to expect..

Well for starters, keep doing what you were doing before!  You obviously did really well in terms of personal presentation, body language, length and quality of answers, being friendly etc before, so keep it up!

I have no idea on the sorts of questions you should expect, but I felt like being positive and saying "you go get em"! :-)  Good luck.

I've been for a few interviews lately (got job at last - hooray), and I was almost always asked something along the lines of "tell us why we should give this job to you and not someone else?".

Look into the company itself a little bit - particularly what they do on the marketing front at present and what you think about that. This may help you think of some things you'd like to ask them - always a good thing as it show you're taking a genuine interest - and it might also help you be prepared if (horror of horrors) they ask for your opinion on anything.

Whatever they ask - well done on getting this far and good luck for the future.

i work in HR and you'll be surprised how many times companies have an offer pack all ready for the 2nd interview.  we do it everytime!!   they have probably already got an idea and the chance of the 2nd interview should be to reitterate what you did in your first interview, to be  a little less nervous than before and to clarify your points you made last time.

They will have questions to ask you to just delve in a little more to make sure your the best person.

Do the same as before but just step it up a notch - its time to emphasise why they should employ you and to clarify who you are
