Hi im 23 with building experience ive just enrolled on a carpentry course and finding it really hard to get hands on experience.I live in london and and want to get a job as a chippys mate but dont know how to go about it,big carpentry firms are hard to find.Any ideas?Thanks Elliot.

Why don't you contact firms around you explaining your situation and see if anyone will take you on. My husband gets lots of letters with cv from lads looking for work. You never know you could strike lucky
