16th probably. They keep chopping and changing things, used to be one week in arrears and a week in advance. Isn't it all Universal Credit anyway these days? Has your daughter given her permission for you to talk to them ? (data protection and all that)

Also don't forget as its coming up to Christmas it may be an extra large payment if your next payment falls during Christmas week

Thanks for the Info, the letter says JSA, and no I haven't got permission to speak to them, but will get to ask that on Friday. She made the claim on the 24th November, went back on the 30th and has to go back on the 8th of December, is that normal? She didn't ask many questions as she is embarrassed.
from memory, unless things have changed in the previous few years, the first week doesn't count for payment hence entitlement starting on the 2nd December.
'They' may want her to visit once a week with proof of what she's been doing in the job-hunting situation.
If she hasn't already signed up to a Universal Gateway account (or whatever it's called, then do so pronto!)

Also, register with other websites, eg, Indeed and they can email vacancy alerts too.
Then pop over to Universal and update her account via the 'message' thingy saying she has applied or not for a suitable vacancy which they have advertised.

I'll need to dig out some other websites which may be of use.

Thank you for Best and Islay has more insight and better knowledge than I

Wishing her well, and it's nothing to be embarrassed about, life happens..
