Ask your teachers, your friends, the local library, google it - anything at all to help yourself. You will appreciate it more if you have had to work on it.

An 'assignment about microeconomics' could mean anything from a few lines (defining what it is) to a degree-level thesis, taking hundreds of hours to write, examining market structures and competition types in great depth. I simply can't believe that your teacher/tutor told you to go away and "write an assignment on microeconomics"; there must have been some additional detail provided. We're lost without it!

Microeconomics looks at the economics for individuals (all income groups) , households and companies- eg production theory, supply and demand, leisure/work/remuneration relationships. Macroeconomics looks at the economic issues of the economy as a awhole of a country (or group of countries)- eg unemployment, balance of payments, government tax and spending, economic growth, inflation/money supply, income inequality.

We need to know what the question is, but if you are clueless maybe you have missed the lectures/tutorials.
