We aren't getting the full story. What we are told just doesn't make sense.

let me spell it out for you - - - who daid that....
you dont know the back story

she knew she had it - - coz her sis sent it to her
so that is a yes to possession

and she didnt use one of the get outs - reporting and registering it
and so - - - got screwed.

she didnt overturn conviction ....

You got rules, you gardda follow them ( unless you are a chief constable of course when It Is All Different)
she wasnt
It has been a very odd case, she claimed to be unaware it was even on her phone - presumably that is why she didn't delete it.

He can't , you wont lend him your crayons.
If she didn’t know it was there …

How did anyone know about it?
TTT, instead of ridiculing Peter, try listening to him. I'm sure you're capable.
Make sure you have cleared all your devices of as much as possible if u go to the US As they can look at anything
The video had been sent to her by her sister and the police would have analyzed the sister's 'phone to see if the video had been sent on to anyone else.
A cop on the sex offenders register gets back her job...what's odd about that?

"TTT, instead of ridiculing Peter, try listening to him. I'm sure you're capable." - all he does is write drivel and insult everyone including you pasta. He seems to be exempt from the Site Rules.

Roy: "A cop on the sex offenders register gets back her job...what's odd about that?" - If you could get a cop fired and busted by whatsapping them there'd be no plods left. I therefore think we are not being told the full story. Do try and engage the squidgy thing between your ears occasionally.
"should the Site Rules not apply to all?"

They should but your stating that is odd since you choose to ignore them on a regular basis.

Mince isn’t very thick really. Especially fray Bentos mince beef, it’s quite runny, and not good value. Also I do not have a mobile phone to be plagued by strange and vengeful nutters.
From the Site Rules:-

"Discussions can get passionate but users should moderate their language and refrain from personal attacks and profanity. We encourage lively debate but name calling, harassment or abuse will not be tolerated."

Calm down everyone ! Crime is a different country -

which bit of - - "her sis sent it to her and she knew so that is a 'yes' to possession" did we not understand? The conviction still stands

the employment disciplinary doesnt allow one to argue the toss about whether you did it or not - - the charge will be - - "she was convicted of .....on such a date..."

what they DID think twice about was that such a conviction was gross misconduct.

I thought she was lucky.

There was a let-out. She cd have reported it . She decided not to as it would incriminate her sis. Strikes me she had a good lawyer

Let us calm down and try to discuss things rationally
I note the log thread has gone down the swannee
Genuine question…

As the tribunal has ruled unfair dismissal, by dint of which presumably she gets her job back, yet the conviction still stands, are coppers allowed to have a criminal conviction?
Question Author
DD, surely in the light of this she will be allowed to appeal the conviction.
