Do I Put My Current Job On My Cv?
24 Answers
I have just started a new job but found another one closer to home that I want to apply for. Do I put it on my cv if I have been there 2 weeks?

Abbey, the person in the same position as you has probably been there a while... maybe a long while. And while they are not your boss, they have the knowledge and experience to guide you. Stick with it. You'll not do yourself any favours by moving again so soon.

You should but TBH you will give a really bad impression of not being able to stick at a job. Unless there is a major issue where you are eg, job not being as advertised you should consider staying put for a minimum of a year. Would you appoint someone who was only in a job for two weeks, or course not,you would see it as a potential waste of resources.
Abbey, you are changing jobs rather frequently. This does not look good when possible employers consider you.
If you put your current job on, then it is likely that the potential employer would contact them to ask why you are leaving so soon. If you don't - then they might contact your last employer and discover that you've left and haven't told your current employer that you are job-seeking.
Unless your current job is really horrible, then you would be best to stay where you are for a while - at least 6 months - i.m.o..
