I wish to complain about the quality of the answers to this post. I fit the description perfectly, so I was hoping for some serious suggestions!
My qualifications are as follows:
Young? Of course, I'm young. These days, 50-odd is still young, isn't it?
Fit? I've never had the slightest problem walking to the pub (and only occasional problems staggering back again).
Adventureous? Obviously! (Sometimes I go to a different pub!).
Good looking? Definitely! (The shine on my scalp is the finest in the area!).
So where are all the suggestions for a young (and virile) male such as me?

PS: If you're looking for serious answers Nick, then (with the qualifications you describe), the idea of leading white-water rafting expeditions, somewhere in South America, would seem to be rather appealing to me.
