What qualifications would I need to become a self employed fitness trainer?

Got lots of experience of training myself!, plus teaching and assessing training from my career, can anyone just place an ad and do it? or are they regulated in some way?

i did an exercise to music nvq at night school which meant i could take aerobics classes, they also do one for working in a gym, contact your local college im sure they will be able to help good luck!
You'll need to join the register of Exercise Professionals. This requires a relevant NVQ at level 3.
