sacking someone?
i have a lad who works for me who i took on because i could no longer stretch myself and had to take on 1 extra pair of hands!! however, week 5, and he still is not motivated enough to do anything,is unwilling to learn, slow, stops if anyone else needs to stop(toilet break kinda thing) when he goes out in the van he gets back at finishing time?
i thought it was a nervouse thing at first, i give him things to do,targets to achieve and i have had a word with him about his work rate....but to no avail..
so.... do i just say its not working out and sack him, whats my legal standing??
i will be speaking to my acountant on monday anyway but in the meantime??
