I am trying to arrange a refund for 2 flights I booked through Easyjet which were cancelled due to recent terrorist events. It is impossible to get through to their contact centre. More often than not I get a BT announcement telling me the lines are too busy. On the rare occasion I have got through I am advised I have a minimum 30 minute wait. The call is to an 0871 number and costs me so I do not want to wait on the line especially as the wait time could way exceed 30 minutes!!! I have tried to email them via their website but that too would appear to be crumbling under the pressure as the email function won't work. I completely understand it's not really their fault but I need my refund before I can re-book another flight.
Does anyone know of any other way to contact them or do I have to resign myself to being lost in this customer service nightmare????? Their website gives NO other contact methods or even an address for them! Help!
Afriad it's a case of staying in that queue on the phone.
As I haven't worked in the travel business for a couple of years i'm a bit out of the loop....but did you cancel the flight or was the flight cancelled by Easyjet? If the flight was running (admitedly probably alot later!) and you cancelled out of worry, you might not be able to recieve a refund at all.
