What are my options?

Hello,
I am looking for some careers advice. I am a student currently at sixth form. I am studying psychology and ICT. I do not have any plans to go to university after sixth form. I am very interested in ICT and particularly in web design or game design. I was wondering if someone could highlight what options I have in order to get into one of those fields of work without going to university.
If university is a must, is the Open University an option?
