Ive looked into a lot of home working adverts the past few months to earn a bit of extra cash, but they all wanted an initial outlay of anything from 50+. It all depends on what you're looking for but Id be really careful, especially with the jobs where your make and paint ornaments and things - they have very strict guidlines on what standard of work they accept and will pay for.
How about getting a hobby that would make some money? Making jams, preserves etc and selling them to a local shop. Or making greetings cards and selling them through the net or in bootsales etc? It'd use your time well and fill your pocket hopefully. Hope it helps. Good Luck
