plumbers labourer
4 Answers
What would be the work duties of a plumbers labourer and would they differ from other labouring jobs in construction industry. I fancy a change and the wages don`t look to bad, but nobody I`ve spoken to seem to be able to tell me if any special skills are required.
Many thanks.

Thanks Bluevern I`m quite familiar with most of the tools and know yorkie fittings from compression it`s more the skills side that I need to know probably if it`s a semi-skilled job or differs from other labouring in some way. Trying to prepare myself if I get an interview I`ve been in construction since I left school. What really got me thinking was the wage difference in this job compared to other labouring jobs in construction as it currently pays about 8 an hour according to the SNIJIB and it got me thinking why.
Just to update. Didn`t go well. Was asked if I could do pipework as in copper etc. which I can`t. I`ve been in the trade since I left school and this is a new one on me. I`m more than capable of the hard work side of things but I honestly think this is ridiculous. Don`t think they need a labourer just a plumber who will work for less. To think it cost me money to attend this charade of an interview.
