I've got an interview for a job on thursday and just wondered if anyone had any good tips or questions to ask?

The job is Asst Retail Manager for a charity shop

My partner used to do this job. Ask exactly which branch you will be working at, what the turnover of vounteer staff is, whether you will be expected to work alone at any time (ie manage the shop), progression routes.

Hi - I think it went quite well. They asked lots of questions which I think I answered well without saying anything stupid and I asked lots of questions (thanks for your suggestions on those).

After leaving I thought of lots of other things I would like to have asked or better answers I might have given, but thats always the way, you dwell on it afterwards.

I did my best anyway and the three people who interviewed me were all very nice. I think I would fit in really well.

So hopefully I will hear within a few days - I really really want it and think I would do a fantastic job. Its my dream job so I'm going to be saying my prayers tonight!

As soon as I submitted my answer to you I got a telephone call offering me the job! I'm so happy and I can't believe it!

How often does your dream job come up and to be able to raise money for a fantastic cause too.

here are some tips for you: first of all dress properly, take a copy of your cv with you, speak politely,don't smoke, be ready to answer questions related to your cv, think about what you are going to say if they ask you something about yourself, think about why are you the person suited for the job you apply for.Try to find out as many things as you can about that charity shop and set up in advance the questions you want to ask the employer.
