looking for jobs in London

I have recently moved to London to look for graphic design jobs as I have had no luck in Birmingham. I have applied for quite a lot in the last two months and there does seem to be a lot more going here. I was just wondering if anyone has any tips on where to look online and applications. Also if anyone knows of any design/mac based temping agencies. I am giving myself till about the end of May to find something as I don't think I could afford to stay any longer without work.

I'd greatly appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.

Hello mate,

I assume you have a degree or some form of qualification in graphic design so try milkround.com, really good place to find jobs under your catagory........sadly my degree in politics has not provided many avenues.......kinda wish id gone down your sort of route..

anyway good luck mate, know how hard it is i've been unemployed for four months now!

Thanks for your replies. I'll have a look at those sites. I have a degree in fine art, joeylad which is beneficial for graphic design work. I know what you mean though about looking for work. I've been unemployed for ten months trying to find this type of work in Birmingham! This is why I've moved to London now as there's a lot more to apply for here. I have a lot of regular voluntary design work though so hopefully it doesn't look too bad on my cv. Good luck with the job hunt!
