Dentistry involves lots of expense for your patients but it shouldn't be a problem as they can all afford to go private now, can't they??? (Joke). The main thing is do you really want to look into peoples mouhts at their rotten teeth and diseased gums? if you do then all credit to you - dentists charge a fortune, get paid a fortune but then again I couldn't do what they do!!

im a dental nurse and it envolves every aspect of the mouth, we check for mouth and throat cancer,we give advice for smoking and dietry advice. we clean and polish, do fillings and we do othodontic work, ie braces etc. then there bridges and retainers and crown and root fillings, its all very good to know, and i bloody love it!
