I heard these two books being reviewed on radio 5 about 6 months ago and am desperate to find them.The first is set in a shopping centre and involves all the people that work and shop there.It is by a young female first time novelist. The second is the warm and sometimes funny memoir of a middle class lad growing up in an alcoholic family. It is autobiographical and again is by a first time writer. Any ideas?
