lost certificate

hello does anybody have any idea of how i can obtain a replacement certicate for a diploma in parentcraft i undertook in the 1980 s i have tried city and guilds and AQA but to no avail

Try Edexcel or the institution where you actually took the qualification, they may have had their own board.
susan thats an easy one contact the university / colleage they have to keep a record of this
Sorry Suzanne but i think you may be unlucky. I have just photocopied some certificates of my daughters and, in emboldened writing on the back, it says they must be stored in a secure place as it is impossible to obtain replacements. If you know who awarded the original, they'd have a record but they'd only be able to confirm this - not supply a replacement.

It makes you wonder though doesn't it? How many people actually lie about their qualifications and get away with it? It's obviously not that easy to check on someone if they've lost their certificates.
