when would i have left school?

If i was born in 1990, when would of i left high school, i'm now on my second year at college?
im not sure whether its 2006 or 2007

It's now 2008. If you had started college last year 2007 you would be in your first year now. Therefore you finished high school in 2006. Personally, I find it quite worrying that you cannot subtract 2 from 8. Also it is "when would I have" not "When would I of".

Good lord, someone who can't even remember whether they left school last year or the year before. No wonder the youth of today get slated so much if you are an example...

i find it impossible how anyone cannot remember the exact day they left school. Its the best day of your life!!

School leaving age is 16 I think? So that would be 2006 when you would be 16. Leave school and start an apprenticeship rather than uni. My young friends (girls) who went to uni have come out with huge debts and no jobs. When they do begin work they have to repay the uni debts; some up to �20k! In practice, they have all had babies and unreliable relationships......its a cop out from the uni debt so they can receive social security and work from home.

It would depend whether you were born in the first or second half of 1990. As the cut off point for acceptence into school is some time in the summer, each year has a mixture of people that were born in one year (eg from summer 1990 to end of december 1990 and from jan 1991 to summer 1991)

So if you were born in the first half of the year (Jan-summer 1990) you would have been with people who were born from summer 1989-summer 1990 and you would have left school in 2006.
If you were born in the second half of the year (summer 1990-december 1990) you will have been in the next year down, along with people who were born from summer 1990-summer 1991 and would have left school in 2007
