Can you make any money from doing online surveys? Is it worth doing or are the monetary rewards slim?

I've been doing them fpr about 3 months so far and have yet to make any cash :-( I am signed up with about 6 different websites.

Half the surveys they send you, after you have answered the first couple of questions you get told that you are not part of the target group and are not eligible on this occasion!

thanks cheeky chops wil bear your info in mind. Obviously not going to become a millionaire with online surveys!!!
I do my own surveys and I regularly get told that Im a nosey cud
You could sign up with http://www.yougov.com/ , you get 50p for each survey, which takes about 10-15 mins, then when you've done 50 worth, you get your money. So yeah, not a get rich quick scheme, but if you like clicking check boxes, then might as well get paid for it.

A better way to get cash for opinions is to sign up with one of the market research groups, try http://www.sarosresearch.com

I agree with cheekychops, you do the survey then they say you are not eligible....... I think by then you have already done the survey...... its a rip off.
I have been signed to yougove for a couple of years now and they are the best. They really do pay out, but it takes a full 2 years to reach that 50 target before they will send you your cheque, but they are genuine. You receive 1 or 2 surveys per week, sometimes they are only for prize draws, usually 50p each, sometimes 75p each.
The other one that I am signed to is Ciao, but they pay very little money, something like 10p per survey, take ages to fill, and on many occassions afte you have completed a few mins of survey, they tell you that you are not eligible.
Unless you are really desperate for cash and have a lot of time on your hands I would avoid Ciao as you are no more likely to get paid a fiver a year with them.
I'm signed up for a few and would say I make about 60-100 a year. It's not much but I quite enjoy doing the surveys anyway and quite often get products to product test which I also enjoy doing!
