Sick pay entitlement whilst working out notice of redundancy

This could be a tricky one, i have just been given notice of redundancy, i have to work for the following 5 weeks however i have to go into hospital for an op and will be off work for a week, i normally dont get paid sick pay but being as i have been given official notice will i infact be paid for the time that i am off sick? i have tried ACAS and CAB but cant get through to them let alone ask anyone!

As you are working during your redundancy notice period all other conditions of employment will remain the same. Thus if you would not have been paid before the issue of redundancy came up you will not be paid now.
