2nd reference this week to 'throwing a 7'.
What the hell is this - a dice (die?) only goes up to 6.

I might have an inkling what it means, but not for sure. I don;t want to make a fool of myself.

Same as 'rolling a 7'. In the game Craps, this occurs when you are finished or 'crap out'.

Synonymous with dying. When someone 'rolls/throws a 7' they are dead.

OMG, glad I asked that - I would indeed have made myself look a fool. I thought it was something to do with self-pleasuring.

In gambling games sal, you use two dice, so you can roll the required 7 or eleven to win.

never thought about the gambling thing with two dice (doh!).
Here I was thinking '7'? Oh, that must mean the (average) 7 inches.
