uniform

having worked for a company for many years with no uniforn policy they are now implementing a uniform,(although they are only providing part of it , we then have to purchase the rest to meet their requirements)., are we obliged to wear it? Does custom and practice not apply?

they should be providing the full uniform and not expecting staff to buy the rest of it from them which the profit they make will pay for what they gave out free. thus you more or less end up paying for the full uniform if you really do the math.
