Is he an English teacher? If so ask him to help you with your written work. I not i for instance and the use of punctuation is also helpful.

However to answer your question. It depends if you felt the conversation was had in confidence. Did he say 'don't say anything' or 'just between the two of us' or something similar?

If he was hopeing you would 'spread the word' then as you are a child perhaps he should have made it obvious. It is up to you but personaly I would not say anything unless it seemed appropriate.

You don't even have to use 'proper' punctuation. The odd full stop would be suffice.

Don't spread gossip - it hurts people and will probably come back to bite you. Best just to keep quiet or if you are concerned about what that teacher has told you, speak to another teacher about it in confidence. (guidance teacher perhaps?)
