work and tax credits

hi i have just got a job doing school crossing patrol and dinner lady i work 16hrs a week term time ,i have just filled in a form for taxcredits and it says i have to work 16hrs a week every week.does anyone else do school term work only and get tax credits if so do you work doing another job in the holidays?if i worked 20hrs or more it would be ok as the hrs even them selves out over the year .i have this problem as i only work 16hrs.any advice please.
