I am currently working in education as a Learning Manager and undergoing the City & Guilds 7307 Teching Certificate.  I am enrolled to do the Cert Ed in September 2005 and will be completed this next June 2005.  My area of expertise is IT and I would very much appreciate a helping hand as to what route is best for me, in as much as employment.  I would very much like to stay in education, either secondary or FE.  Please help.

I am soooo sorry, but I can't really help with your question BUT I was hoping you could help me?

I have been looking all over for an institute allowing students to complete their Cert Ed in just one year as opposed to two! Where are you going to study for it? I assume it's full-time.

Thanks!

Because I have done the City & Guilds 7307 and a bridging course this June to allow me to get onto the Cert Ed year 2.  This is a part time course, one evening per week.  It involves 7 Assignments, a micro teach and 5 observations in the work place by the tutors.  I am doing this at South Tyneside College, in the North East.

Excellent! Sorry to be a pain, but I heard that the old C & G 7307 is now the new 7302. How long did your 7307 take to complete?

The new 7302 I am talking about takes 15 weeks to complete and i'm wondering if I also can jump onto year 2 of the Cert Ed with this certificate.

You need to check it out but I think the 7302 is an introductory to the 7307.  The 7307 is a years course.
Thanks Meisha!
