disabled parking bays
If a disables parking bay on the highway does not display a signpost nearby stating it's a disabled parking bay is it an offenve to park in this bay? My understanding is no plate on the pavement confirning it's for disabled parking then an offence has not been commited.

(For example, you might have noticed that plates are no longer displayed alongside double yellow lines). So, unless the disabled bay restrictions only apply at certain times, there is no requirement to display a plate.
