I received my notice to quit today from the lettings agent. My tenancy ends on 25th May 2007. To renew the lease is going to cost me 100 to cover 'administration costs'. I paid nearly 200 when I first took out the lease. The agents want my decision by Tuesday plus the 100 if I'm renewing, which is non-refundable if I change my mind. Do they really need to know so soon? Feels like they're pushing me into a decision. I would have thought a month was adequate notice. And how can they justify 100 to print out an agreement which apart from dates will be identical to the one I previously signed. A 100!!!!
