Hi I need and advice about about court cost. I failed to pay a court cost due to having a low income and it goes to the bailiffs, the bailiffs send me a letter that they want 115 pound, 65 for the court cost and 50 for them, I receive the letter saturday with a giro on it, I rang them as it state in the letter that they want it 24 hours and I told them how can we pay it in 24 hours as we dont have a credit card, so we pay it in the post office on a monday in the post officel ast week, we visit my mother in law last saturday and we just arrive yesterday and received another letter from them and they want 215 and removal of goods if we dont pay which i already did. I rang straight away and they apologize as they dont notice that its already paid, I feel relief after that. A couple of minutes letter they rang me that they want a 100 more as the payments was late, and I told the lady how come it was late as we paid it on time, she said oh the bailiffs wants another 100 and I told her you shouldnt send a giro which will take longer to clear...is the bailiffs has the rights to ask for more money? it really gives me a headache...sorry for a long question and hope somebody can advice me what to do...

And a lesson in the future is not to ignore a court summons or order because once the Bailiffs get at it......SOme people have to experience it to believe it.
