Missing ex-husband...

My ex is living in N.E.Romania with his Romanian girlfriend since our divorce 3yrs ago. His solicitor has had no reply from him for six months and he has not returned our house transfer papers. Does anyone know how I can find out if he is there or has returned to this country? His old mobile no. is unrecognised and his family have not heard anything. I have no address, just a town, Botosani. Any ideas?

Get your solicitor to draft proceedings for the court to execute the transfer and serve them on his last known address.

I do not know his address or have a solicitor. I am hoping t his solicitor will do this as he knows his address.

P.S. I think his solicitor has already done this and had no reply and that is why he is asking me.

Lacuna - you really do need to instruct your own solicitor, to act on your behalf and protect your interests. If you are on benefits, you might qualify for Legal Aid but I am sure one of the legal experts will be able to advise you there ! Are you based in the UK ?
