Can anyone help? What constitutes a skeleton argument? Is this the same as a written introduction to the case?

It should start with suggested reading, a dramatis personae (if complicated) and a chronology (if relevant). The background should also be stated. Then the points in dispute and points of law on which you rely (ie statutes/cases) to support your case.
It should not include new evidence but should refer to the page numbers in the bundle to assist the judge in reaching a conclusion.
