i bought a tv in the boxing day sales on credit. when the tv arrived i signed for it and accepted it. 2 days later i get a phone call from the retailer saying they want it back.....what are my rights?? my understanding is that it was a mistake on their part and that they gave me the tv and i accepted it... by law can i keep it or do i have to return it??
the tv has been taken out of the box and is in use....so is no longer a new item. im sure if it was the other way around and i recived a lower spec than oredered they would have told me to go away and that i should have checked it before i opened it, and becouse its been used cant be taken back.

I think your options are
1) pay the extra
2) give back the tv and get the one you paid for (making sure they pay delivery charges and you don't give them the old one back till you have the new one)
I disagree theat if it had been a mistake in their favour that they would have refused to do anything about it, sorry
