On Chatterbank there is a thread
in which the subject of receipts has arisen. Can anyone tell us if it is against the law not to give a receipt. The shop that did not give the receipt was Greggs. I was of the opinion that a large concern like this would give receipts automatically but . . .?

Why should you pander to Greggs? Whatever it is you should be able to get good value for your money. I don't care if it is a sausage less sausage roll or a meat less meat pie, why should you give your money to a large company who have millions of pounds while you are working hard for peanuts (not literally of course)
