unfounded alligations
I was recently arrested on the charges of assault by beating and Possession of an offensive weapon, namely a knife. I have denied all charges, as I was never found with said knife. I have two statements against me and my statement countering theirs. This is all the evidence they have for court. It is true isn't it, that without hard evidence and only two peoples word (whom are a couple), they can but only throw it out of court??? Neither of the two are willing to attend court either. My only worry is I have recently been released from prison on very similar charges. Although I did get bail also for this offence. Any help please? Cheers.

You are willing to admit on an anonymous website that you had a weapon at the time of the offence, and yet want to waste the court's time by pleading Not Guilty?
Hopefully, the weight of evidence supplied by the statements already given will persuade the court of your guilt in this matter.
Perhaps an additional spell in prison for the same thing will help you realise that rather than trusting to 'loop-holes' or inconsistencies in the law, you really ought to address your own behaviour.

how can you "be there" for children when the "there" is prison? What the hell is your definition of "being there"?
Anyway, i am still really unclear as to whether you did actually assault your ex/exes b/f it and/or had a knife in your possession. It really does make a difference you know, and any advice given here will be totally useless you are honest. I could say "yes it will be thrown out" but if you leave out key facts like you DID have a kife, or the victim has a broken jaw or something, that advice is rubbish
