Sorry for the confusion!!!
He’s now charged with four offences including breaching a 12 month suspended sentence!
It’s been referred to crown court for sentencing as the magistrates said his power of only 26 weeks wasn’t sufficient in this case and the suspended sentence needs to be activated also due to it only being issued 5 days before the vicious assault!
He wasn’t bailed this time and has been put on judges remand till the crown court sentencing on 29th Aug.
His previous convictions where a lot more than I originally thought and the probation officers report said “ he was very high risk to the public and the victim, plus whilst on probation he was very aggressive and nasty to the officer and had missed several appointments therefore a custodial sentence is definitely recommended in this case “ .
