General advice needed

Any ideas on maximum length of a GBH jail sentance, the guys guilty but has gone not guilty claiming he cant remember 3 mins ago let alone 3yrs ago.

The police know hes guilty and they have statements, and Forensic proof that its him that did it.

He also has previous for Affray,ABH n domestic violence, and has been questioned for GBH in the past but that was dropped after the witness withdrew statement

By the looks of things, he should get the book thrown at him, but then we are talking about the law here - the ass that it is !

the guy in the dock is my now X partner and i hope he gets life!!!
