ipp's
My partner has been told today that he is lookinmg at a minimum sentence of 6 years if he doesn't get an ipp. I think that this is a bit harsh especially as this was proven too be 1 blow to the head in the medical report. Does anyone else think that this is a bit harsh or is it just me? Please answer a.s.a.p as he is being sentenced on friday!!!

I think Buenchicho found you a link earlier quoting an average sentence of 4 years so it does seem a bit high.
However I don't recall if your partner has any previous history or not which obviously would make a difference.
I guess there's not much to do until Friday when you'll find out and he'll be able to start thinking about whether or not an appeal is practical

Well even if i am visiting him for years to come what business is it of yours. You don't even know my partner, yes what he did by going to the door was wrong. All i have done is asked for advice because that is what this website is supposed to be, however except for a minority it is full of idiots who just get a kick out of being a complete moron!!!!!!!
