You punched someone in the back of the head. You assaulted them. Have you really got to a stage where you have absolutely zero concept of what is bad behaviour and what isn't?
Is there anything short of a lobotomy that you think could turn your life round? Be honest with yourself, and admit that prison is probably the best place for you.....

Punching someone in the back of the head would come under most normal people's definition of 'violent'. Reading between the lines of your original question, you probably think it doesn't count because you were drunk. In which case i strongly suggest that if you are lucky enough to avoid prison again you enrol yourself in AA pretty sharpish and sort yourself out before you cause someone real harm (or are on the receiving end of it yourself) .
If you hit him in the back of the head, surely he was facing away from you ?
If that is the case, why did you not take that opportunity to just walk away ?
I'm sure the courts will take the view that at the time you assaulted him he was posing 'no threat' which would have been your only defence.
I suggest you examine your own conduct and ask yourself why you get yourself into these situations.

Bubblegal - face reality, you have been charged 10 times for being drunk, criminal damage to the tune of 15,000 and now you have assaulted someone. This is not the behaviour of a normal person and you seriously need to address your drink problem. Before you say you don't have a drink problem.......YOU DO you have been charged 10 times for being drunk and disorderly, that is a PROBLEM, if you go to prison that is also a PROBLEM. You do not seem to realise that the way you behave is not normal behaviour - I bet 100 AB users could click on here now and say truthfully they have never been charged for drunk and disorderly behaviour. GROW UP AND FACE RESPONSIBILITY FOR YOUR ACTIONS!!!!!!!!
i would suggest that rather than trying to justify your actions here, you speak to your legal counsel and they will advise whether you will receive a custodial sentence.
If this other party was going to hit you, the question is why? You said that he wound you up! Why would he hit you if he wound you up? I am confused!

Please don't try to turn this into a thread about perceived sexual bias.
Person A wound up person B.
Instead of person B walking away, person B assaulted person A whilst person A was not looking and therefore unprepared to evade the blow.
You obviously have a problem with your anger and need to find a more acceptable way of dealing with it.
You may be at college but future employers will be less than impressed with a prospective violent, angry, drunken vandal as an employee...........
