I have been charged for the above. This is the first time I have been in trouble. I suffer from severe depression and can only account my stupid behaviour to this. I have been advised by my solicitor to get a character reference from my GP, which I have done. Is there anything else I can do to help myself, and also what are the chances of going to prision for this.

I bought clothes in TKMax and returned different items with the same tag. It was so stupid and I am so ashamed. they had watched me for about a week. I admitted straight away to the police and shop. I am terrified what will happen to me.
Is it your first offence?

Hello, yes this is the first time I have ever been in trouble.
I have never even had a speeding ticket or had any contact with the police. I dont know how I am ever going to recover from doing something so stupid. I am afraid I will end up doing something to myselft because of the shame I have brought upon myselft.
what are the police saying to you hun and do you have a solicitor?

How much have you defrauded TK Max ?

Try not to worry. You are obviously very remorseful.

Take Care.

Hello

I am not sure how much it is for as I have to attend the police station with my solicitor on 11 April. My solicitor thinks it will go to the magistrate court and be a fine. I am so worried and dont know how I am going to cope.
I am sorry to have taken your time up with this.

Thankyou
Hi Honey. I beleive if you have to go back to the Police station on the 11th April then you may very well be on a Part IV Bail. When you return to the Police Station (preferably with your Solicitor - you are entitled to free advice from a Solicitor at the Police Station) you will be told whether or not they are going to charge you with the offence. Your Solicitor is right, it could 'well end up in the Magistrates Court' but hey, dont be bloody losing any sleep over it. If you are up for it, spend a day sitting at your local Magistrates Court and see what people do really get up to. AN EYE OPENER - Trust me and cheaper than any Theatre Ticket ! I think personally that if it is a first offence and not to the value of very much then the Police with speak with a Crown Prosecutor and request a Caution.

Let it be a lesson and give your Doctor a ring because you are really stressing here and whilst you and I both know what you did was against the law, this is clearly making you ill.

Email me to [email protected] if you just want someone to talk to.

Take Care.
