I was wondering if you might be able to me. I am doing some research for a novel I am working on. In this novel which is set in 1999/2000 I have a MC who along 3 other youths (16-19 year olds) they decided one summers afternoon to take off their clothing and run about nude and terrorising the people in a near by marina they are drunk at the time. Could you tell me roughly how they would be dealt with?

They are not aggresive, but not exactly co-operative either. The 16 year old is my MC, one of the police on the scene is the same one who broke news of death of parents to MC's family just over a year before. I am not sure whether to have them taken to a cell for a few hours or taken home, what is more plausable? Also would they all be dealt with the same or would their varying ages mean different treatment.

ta for your help.

If their behaviour was distressing members of the public then the likley outcome would be an arrest for a section 5 public order offence or possibly exposure.

They MAY be let of with a warning should they be in a secluded river spot though.
