can a conviction stand if made in the wrong nane in court
I was convicted in court on the 11/1109 disqualified from driving for 14 months but the letter received from dvla on saturday is in my brothers name, The court was told on the day of conviction that they had the wrong details, fined me in my name but disqualified my brother who was not even charged with the offence. This is a serious mistake by the court, in view of this what redress do i have.

Bobby was charged with driving with excess alcolhol on the 11/11/09 details of Jason was read out in court his brother, who had previously had a conviction in May 09 but not related in any way to to Bobbys . The court had on the 11/11/09 the wrong persons details. After being told this they convicted Bobby who was the person charged with the offence but published details of Jason to the DVLA banning him and to the newspaper.
